Commissions
Percentages per passenger type, scoped by route and airline.

Commissions appears when your platform uses controlled markups. On a free-markup platform the screen is not in your sidebar at all, whatever accesses a role holds — nothing is wrong, and no role change will reveal it.
Which mode your platform uses is decided by your platform operator.
The shape of a commission
| Field | Applies to |
|---|---|
| Adult Percentage | 12 years and above |
| Child Percentage | 2 to 12 years |
| Infant Percentage | 10 days to 2 years |
All three are required, and each must be a whole number between 0 and 100.
Scoping
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Airline | Optional. One airline |
| Define Route | A checkbox. Tick it to add an Origin Airport and a Destination Airport, which cannot be the same airport |
A commission with no airline and no route applies to every flight.
Once Define Route is ticked, at least one of origin, destination or airline must be filled in, or the form refuses to save.
How overlaps resolve
The same rule as markups: the most specific commission wins, and they never stack. The list carries a reminder. A commission naming an airline and a route beats one naming only the airline.
Duplicates
Create one whose scope already exists and the panel shows Previous Commission and New Commission side by side, asking you to confirm the replacement.
The list
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Origin · Destination · Airline | The scope, or All Origins / All Destinations / All Airlines |
| Adult / Child / Infant Commission % | The percentages |
Search by origin, destination or airline; sort newest or oldest.
Deleting
Delete is per row and removes the commission and all its related information.
Future bookings only.
Where the effect shows
Flight order details carry a Commission Details section, split into supplier and seller shares per passenger type, alongside Markup Details and Our profit.
Questions
I cannot find this screen. Your platform uses free markups. Use Flight Markups instead.
Why does the form reject my entry? Either Define Route is ticked while origin, destination and airline are all empty, or a percentage is not a whole number from 0 to 100.
How does this relate to markups? On a controlled-markup platform, commissions are how your margin on scheduled flights is expressed; those flights are not marked up. Charter flights still take Flight Markups.
Why is this flagged high risk in the role editor? Anything beyond viewing under Commissions changes what you earn. Grant it narrowly.
