Launch checklist

Everything below depends on the step above it, so working top to bottom avoids backtracking. Steps 1 to 5 are the minimum for a store that can take money. The rest make it a store people want to buy from.

1. Seller Information

Seller Information

Fill in your company name, contact details, address and support hours, then set Storefront Services: switch on what you sell and drag them into the order you want.

The first active service becomes your home page

Whichever active service sits first in the list decides what visitors see when they land on your site. Put your main product first.

Nothing else makes sense until this is done — the storefront has no identity and no products before it.

→ What you can sell

2. Connect a payment gateway

Payment Gateways

Until a gateway is live, customers can search and fill in passenger details and then cannot pay.

  • Shared gateways run on the platform's merchant accounts. Nothing to configure.
  • Dedicated gateways run on your own merchant account. Enter the credentials from your provider, once.

A banner at the top of the screen tells you how many gateways still need credentials. Customers cannot pay through those, even though checkout can still list them.

On a dedicated gateway, decide while you are there whether to set a gateway fee — a percentage plus a fixed amount added on top of each payment, which the customer pays and you keep. Shared gateways have no fee to set.

→ Get paid

3. Set your markups

Flight Markups · Hotel Markups · Activity Markups

Without a markup you resell at cost. Start with one broad markup per service you sell, then add narrower ones later where you want a different margin.

Tours and visa services have no markup — you set their prices directly when you build them.

→ Set your margins

4. Make a test booking

Open your own storefront — the account menu in the panel header has View storefront — and buy something small end to end. Check that:

  • The service you expect is on the home page
  • Prices include your markup
  • Checkout offers a payment provider
  • The order appears in the right list under Orders
  • A receipt appears under Receipts
  • The ticket or voucher can be downloaded once it is issued

This catches far more than reading settings does.

5. Turn on order notifications

Order Notifications

Enter an address and switch on the events you want. You get an email when an order is placed and, separately, when its ticket or voucher is issued. Your copy carries the order number, amount, customer contact details and a direct link to the order.

Worth doing before you go live rather than after the first missed booking.

Consider Voucher Copies at the same time — a copy of every customer voucher, sent to you.

6. Make it look and read like yours

7. Give your team access

Roles then Users

Build a role, then assign it. Be sparing with Assign role — anyone with it can give any other staff member any role, including one with more access than their own.

→ Add your team

8. Worth doing once orders are flowing

The five-minute pre-launch check

  • At least one service is switched on in Seller Information
  • At least one gateway shows Ready, not Credentials required
  • If any gateway is dedicated, your wallet balance covers a typical booking plus its fee
  • A markup exists for every service you sell
  • Refund policy, terms of service and privacy policy are written in every enabled language
  • Order notifications go to an address somebody reads
  • You have completed one real test booking yourself
