Visa Services

A visa service is one destination country. Inside it you create visa types — the actual products customers buy.

Creating a service

Add visa service asks for the Destination country, then at least one visa type.

Each country can have only one visa service. To sell another type for a country you already have, edit that service and use Add type.

One country can hold many types — Tourist, Business, Student, Transit — each with its own prices, restrictions and documents.

Title, duration and all three prices are required. Each applicant pays the price of their age group.

Origin restrictions

SettingBehaviour
Allow all origin countriesNo restriction
Allowed originsOnly travellers from the countries you list can apply. Pick at least one country, or switch on Allow all origin countries
Banned originsTravellers from the countries you list cannot apply. Pick at least one country
Restrictions apply when the customer gives a nationality

In the visa search, nationality is optional. A customer who picks one sees only the visa types open to it, and a purchase with a nationality the type does not accept is refused. Every visa card also lists the allowed or banned countries, so the rule is visible either way. Use this where a consulate genuinely will not process a nationality, or where you do not want the work.

Required documents

This is the field that saves you the most work

Customers do not upload anything when they apply. They send documents through the request's conversation once you move it to Awaiting customer, so a complete list here lets them send everything in one go. Write it out in full.

Pricing

Visa services have no markup

There is no markup screen for visas. The prices you enter are exactly what the customer pays, so they must cover both the consular cost and your own fee.

The list

Sort newest or oldest. Types are managed inside the service, with add, edit and delete per type; each type card there shows its adult, child and infant prices. Save country changes the service's destination country.

Deleting

Deleting a service deletes all of its visa types

The confirmation says so.

Deleting a single type removes only that type.

What customers see

Your visa catalogue — each country with its available types, prices per age group, issuance times, origin restrictions, description, restrictions and required documents. They choose a type, enter each applicant's name and age group and their contact details, and pay. The application then appears in Visa Requests, and documents follow through its conversation.

Scenarios

Two service levels for the same country

Two visa types under one country — Tourist 1 Month — Standard and Tourist 1 Month — Express — with different prices and different issuance times.

You only handle certain nationalities

Use Allowed origins and list them. Customers who give another nationality do not see the type and cannot buy it.

A consulate has changed its document list

Edit the visa type's Required documents. New applications see the updated list.

Questions

Can I mark up a visa? No. Set the price directly.

Can one type serve several countries? No. Types belong to one service, which is one country.

Where do applications go? Visa Requests.

Can I change prices later? Yes. Existing requests keep the price they were sold at.
