Seller Information

The foundation of your storefront. Your name, your contact details, your support hours — and, most importantly, which services you sell. Fill this in before anything else in the panel.

Two names for one screen

The sidebar calls this Seller Information; the screen itself is headed Store Information. They are the same place. The rest of this guide says Store information, because that is what the screen calls itself.

Storefront services

This is the part that changes what customers can actually buy.

Each service has a switch and a drag handle:

  • The switch turns the service on or off. A service that is off is Hidden — it disappears from your storefront's search tabs entirely, and its own landing page is no longer found.
  • The drag handle sets the order. The first service in the list is the tab customers land on.

Available services: Domestic Flight, Flight, Hotel, Dynamic Tour, Static Tour, Activity and Visa.

Order by what you actually sell

The first service is the default tab, and most visitors never switch tabs. If hotels are 70% of your revenue, hotels go first.

Turning a service off hides it from the storefront. It does not cancel existing bookings, and those orders stay in your Orders screens.

Store texts

These are written per language, in the Translations section.

FieldWhere it showsLimit
Headline TextThe main line on your home page500
Sub Headline TextUnderneath the headline500
DescriptionThe footer, in the Default and Skyline layoutsNone
Support DescriptionThe top of your Contact Us page500
AddressContact Us, the Default and Meridian footers, and your policy pages500
CopyrightThe footer, in the Default and Skyline layouts500
Company NameYour registered business name, used in your policy pages255

None of them is required. Leave the headline or sub-headline empty and the home page shows the platform's standard one instead. A visitor browsing in a language with no Translations entry sees these texts in your platform's default language, or failing that English, or whichever language you did write.

Contact and company details

FieldNotes
Phone NumbersA list. Each number is a Call or an SMS number. Up to 32 characters each. Example format: 02123456789
EmailsA list. Each address is validated, up to 255 characters
Fax NumbersA list. Up to 32 characters each. Example format: 02188776655
Zip CodeOptional
Identification CodeYour business identification code. Shown in your policy pages, and as the license number in the Skyline footer

These are the same in every language. Address and company name are written per language, with the store texts.

These appear on your storefront and on customer-facing documents. Customers and regulators both read them — keep them current.

Phone numbers, emails and fax numbers

None of the three lists has a limit. Add as many as you run.

  • Add phone number, Add email and Add fax number add a row.
  • Each phone number has a Number type: Call or SMS. A new row starts as Call. When a customer taps a Call number it opens their dialer; an SMS number opens their messaging app.
  • Phone numbers keep the order you give them. The up arrow (Move up) moves a row one place up. Wherever only one number is shown, it is the first Call number.
  • For emails and fax numbers, the first row carries the Primary badge. Set as primary on another row moves it to the top.
  • Remove deletes a row. A row cannot be saved empty — fill it in or remove it.
  • The same value cannot appear twice in one list. Emails are compared ignoring capitals, and numbers by their digits only, so +98 21 1234 5678 and +982112345678 count as the same number. A phone number may be listed once as Call and once as SMS, but not twice with the same type.

Where each list shows on your storefront:

PlaceShows
Contact Us pageEvery phone number, email and fax number. Call numbers under Support Phone, SMS numbers under Support SMS
Footer, Default and Meridian layoutsThe first two Call numbers. No SMS number, email or fax number
Footer, Skyline layoutNo phone number, email or fax number
Payment page support link, the sidebar of the Concierge homepage, your policy pagesThe first Call number and the primary email only. Never an SMS number
Tickets, vouchers and order emailsEvery phone number, email and fax number. SMS numbers on their own line, marked SMS

A list you leave empty is not shown at all, so a store without a fax number has no fax heading, and a footer without Call numbers has no phone label. On a PDF flight ticket, the values of one kind share a line, separated by ·.

On the Store Information screen itself, the details list every value. Each phone number carries a Call or SMS badge, and the first email or fax number is marked Primary when its list has more than one.

Support availability

Tell customers when someone will actually answer.

  • Support Days — a From and a To day, such as Saturday to Wednesday. Choose Not set to clear one.
  • Support Hours — a From and a To time in HH:mm format

As soon as you set any of them, a Preview shows the range as it will read. Customers see the days only when both days are set, and the hours only when both times are set. They appear in the contact box on your tour pages.

Setting hours you do not keep generates complaints. If you answer messages outside these hours anyway, that is a pleasant surprise; the reverse is not.

Translations

Your storefront texts are written per language, for every language you publish in Platform Languages.

The Translations section lets you add a language and write the headline, sub-headline, description, support description, address, copyright and company name for it. At least one translation is required, and a language can only be added once.

What is and is not translated

Translated per language: headline, sub-headline, description, support description, address, copyright, company name.

Shared across all languages: phone numbers, emails, fax numbers, zip code, identification code, support days and support hours.

Publishing a language in Platform Languages without adding its translation here shows those visitors your texts in another language: your platform's default language, or failing that English, or whichever language you did write. Do both together.

Setting it up

  1. Open Create or Edit Store Information.
  2. Turn on the services you sell and drag them into revenue order.
  3. Write the store texts for your main language.
  4. Fill in contact and company details.
  5. Set support days and hours, and check the preview.
  6. Add a translation for every other language you publish.
  7. Save. Changes apply to the storefront immediately.

Troubleshooting

A service is missing from my storefront. Its switch is off here. If it is on and still missing, your platform operator may not have enabled that product for your account.

My storefront shows another language's text in one language. That language has no translation in this form, so the storefront uses your platform's default language, or failing that English, or whichever language you did write.

Invalid time format. Support hours must be HH:mm — 09:00, not 9am.

Each service may appear only once. A service got duplicated in the list. Remove the extra entry.

Enter a value or remove this row. A phone number, email or fax number row was left empty. Fill it in, or remove the row.

This number is already listed with this type. The same phone number is in the list twice with the same type, perhaps written differently. Remove one of them, or change its type.

This value is already in the list. The same email or fax number is in that list twice, perhaps written differently. Remove one of them.

Some of my phone numbers are not in the footer. The footer shows only the first two Call numbers. The rest, and every SMS number, are on your Contact Us page. Move the numbers you want in the footer to the top.
