The settings
Tabs and order
Three trip types, each with a switch and a drag handle:
| Tab | The form opens |
|---|---|
| One way | Without a return date |
| Round trip | With a return date |
| Multi-city | With several flight legs |
Drag to set the order they appear in, and switch off any you do not want to offer.
And the default tab must be one of the tabs you left switched on. The form enforces both.
Default tab
The trip type pre-selected when a visitor opens the flight search form. Choose the one most of your customers want.
Until you save this screen, all three tabs are on in the order One way, Round trip, Multi-city, the default tab is Round trip, and there is no result cap.
Maximum results
The highest number of flight results a visitor can see. A whole number of 1 or more, or leave it empty for no limit.
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Empty | Every result is shown |
| A number | Results are capped at that many, where the flight supplier supports a cap |
A cap makes a long result page shorter and easier to choose from. It is sent to the flight supplier with each search, so flights beyond it never reach the page, whatever their price. Setting it too low can hide cheaper options.
Suppliers that do not take a cap return their full results. Depending on which suppliers your platform searches, visitors can still see more flights than the number you set.

What customers see
The flight search form, with your tabs in your order and your default selected. Result pages respect your cap, where the supplier supports one.
Scenarios
You only sell return flights
Switch off One way and Multi-city, leaving Round trip as the only tab and therefore the default.
Multi-city confuses your customers
Switch it off. The form gets simpler and nothing else changes.
Your result pages are overwhelming
Set a maximum. Start generously — too low and visitors may never see the cheap options.
