Wallet Top-up
Lets your customers add money to their wallet through a payment gateway, without booking anything first.
| Section | Settings → Products |
| Panel route | /admin/wallet-topup |
| Access needed | Platform → Settings → View list |
Wallet Top-up appears in the sidebar only once the wallet top-up package has been assigned to your platform. If you open the page without it, the panel tells you the package is missing — ask your platform operator to assign it.
The setting
| Field | Accepts | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Wallet top-up through a payment gateway | On or off | While on, every user of your site can top up their wallet through a payment gateway |
The switch is on the first time the package is assigned, so there is nothing to do unless you want top-up off. If the package is removed and assigned again, your last choice comes back.
A line above the switch tells you where things stand right now: either your customers can top up their wallet, or they cannot.
The switch covers every user of your site. It cannot be left on for some customers and off for others. Turn it off and the panel reminds you of that before you save.

What has to be true for a top-up to work
| Decided by | |
|---|---|
| The wallet top-up package is assigned to your platform | Your platform operator |
| The switch on this page is on | You |
| At least one gateway is allowed for the Wallet top-up service | Your platform operator |
The third one is easy to miss. Each card on Payment Gateways lists the services that gateway may take payment for. A gateway that takes flight and hotel payments does not take top-ups unless Wallet top-up is on its card too. A card showing All services has no restriction.
A dedicated gateway also has to be able to cover the amount from your platform wallet, exactly as it does at checkout.
What customers see
On their account page, the Wallet card carries a Top up wallet button.
- They choose Top up wallet and enter an amount.
- Continue to payment takes them to the secure checkout page, where they pick a payment provider.
- They pay on the provider's own page and are brought back to their account, with a message confirming the top-up and the new balance on the card.
| Wallet | Amount accepts |
|---|---|
| Rial | Whole numbers only |
| USD | Up to two decimals |
Before they continue, the form shows what their balance will be after the top-up.
When top-up is off, the button is not shown at all. A customer who opens an old link to the top-up checkout is told that wallet top-up isn't available on this site, and nothing is charged.
When top-up is on but no gateway is allowed for it, the checkout page says no payment provider is available.
What it does not change
Paying for a booking is unaffected. A customer whose wallet does not cover an order is still sent to a gateway for the difference, whatever this switch says.
Questions
Can I allow top-up for some customers only? No. It is on for everyone or off for everyone.
Why is Wallet Top-up missing from my sidebar? The package has not been assigned to your platform. Ask your platform operator.
The switch is on, but customers say there is no way to pay. Check that a gateway card lists Wallet top-up, that the gateway is Ready, and — for a dedicated gateway — that your platform wallet covers the amount.
Does turning it off touch money already in wallets? No. Existing balances stay where they are and can still be spent.
Can staff top up their own wallet too? Yes. The same Top up wallet button appears on My Account in the panel.
