Home pages
Each service has its own landing page, and each is built from blocks. This screen lets you choose which blocks appear, in what order, and what they say.
| Section | Content |
| Panel route | /admin/home-pages |
| Access needed | Home Page Block → View list |
The five pages
| Page | The landing page for |
|---|---|
| Flight page | Flight search |
| Hotel page | Hotel search |
| Tour page | Tour browsing |
| Activity page | Activity browsing |
| Visa page | Visa services |
Your storefront's home page is the search page of whichever active service sits first in Seller Information → Storefront Services. Editing the Flight page here only affects your front page if flights are first.
The built-in layout of the Tour page is: Last-minute tour deals, Tour catalogue, Tours by category, Tour categories, How booking works, Intro text, FAQ.
Starting to customise
A page you have never touched uses the built-in layout and shows an empty state listing it. Start customising converts that layout into blocks you can work with. Nothing visible changes at that moment — you simply gain control. Page metadata works before you start; Add block and Reset to defaults only once you have.
The blocks
| Block | Shows |
|---|---|
| Popular routes | The flight routes from Popular Flight Routes, as clickable cards |
| Popular hotel destinations | From Popular Hotel Destinations |
| Popular activity destinations | From Popular Activity Destinations |
| Trending activities | Your picks in Popular Activities first, then seasonal promotions and bestsellers from the activity catalogue to fill the rest |
| Airlines | A scrolling strip of the airlines you sell |
| Search history | Each visitor's own recent searches, from their browser |
| Tour catalogue | Your tours, grouped by category tabs |
| Last-minute tour deals | Departures leaving soon at a reduced price, with a link to the full list |
| Tours by category | Your tours grouped into a section per category — the categories with the most tours first, three tours each, with a link to all tours in that category |
| Tour categories | Your tour categories as a grid of tiles, each pictured with a photo from one of its tours when one is available, and linking to the tour list filtered to it. Categories with no Approved tour that has an active schedule plan are left out |
| How booking works | The three steps a traveller takes to book: choose a tour, pick a date and guests, confirm the booking. The steps talk about tours on whichever page you add it to |
| Visa catalogue | The visa services you sell |
| Intro text | The opening paragraph search engines read first |
| FAQ | Questions from FAQs in the group of this page's product (Flight on the Flight page, and so on), or the built-in defaults when that group has none |
| Rich content | Your own heading, formatted text and image. Add as many as you need |
The panel describes Popular activity destinations as "Activity destinations pulled from your catalogue." and Trending activities as "The activities your visitors book most." The storefront does what the table above says: the first shows your entries in Popular Activity Destinations, and the second shows your Popular Activities picks first, then seasonal promotions, then bestsellers.
Add block offers only the blocks that belong on the page you are editing and are not on it yet. How booking works, Intro text, FAQ and Rich content fit every page, and Search history fits the Flight, Hotel and Activity pages; the others belong to the page of their own service. Only Rich content can be added more than once.
Adding entries to Popular Flight Routes changes nothing on the storefront unless the Popular routes block is on the page. The same applies to each of the others.
Editing a page
| Action | Does |
|---|---|
| Drag a row | Reorder the block |
| Toggle a row | Show or hide the block |
| Edit | Change the block's heading, and for Intro text and Rich content its body and image too |
| Bin icon | Remove the block from the page, after a Remove block confirmation |
| Add block | Add another block to the page |
| Page metadata | Set the SEO fields |
| Reset to defaults | Return to the built-in layout |
Block content
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Heading | Up to 255 characters. Leave empty per language to keep the built-in heading, translated |
| Body | Intro text and Rich content only. Replaces the built-in copy for that language. Leave empty to keep it |
| Image | Intro text and Rich content only |
| Image side | Rich content only. Before the text or After the text. Left and right swap automatically on right-to-left pages; phones always show the image below |
Trending activities, Airlines, Search history and Visa catalogue have no heading or text of their own, so their Edit button is switched off.
Page metadata
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Browser and search title | Up to 255 characters. Empty uses the built-in title |
| Search result description | Up to 500 characters. Empty uses the built-in description |
| Share image | The picture shown when the page is shared |
Resetting
Every block, title and text you added to the page is removed and the built-in layout comes back. It cannot be undone.
Unsupported blocks
A block may show "Not supported by this frontend version". It exists in your configuration but your storefront cannot render it, so visitors never see it. You cannot toggle or edit it; remove it with the bin icon if you no longer need it.
Scenarios
Promote routes on your flight page
Add entries in Popular Flight Routes, then add the Popular routes block here and drag it high.
Push last-minute tour deals
Switch on a last-minute discount on a tour schedule plan, then add the Last-minute tour deals block to your tour page.
Add SEO copy without changing the layout
Add an Intro text block, write the opening paragraph, and set the page metadata.
Help visitors browse tours by theme
Give your tours categories in Tours, then add Tour categories for a picture grid of themes, or Tours by category for a section of tours under each one.
Write your own sales pitch
Add a Rich content block. Add more than one if you need several sections.
Questions
I changed a block and nothing happened. Check the block is toggled on, and that this is the page your storefront actually lands on.
Where do FAQ block questions come from? FAQs, from the group of the page's product. With none in that group, built-in defaults are shown.
Can I create a brand new block type? No. Use Rich content for your own material.
Does hiding a block delete its content? No. Toggle it back on and it returns.
