Blog Panel

Your blog posts are written and published in the blog's own panel, not in this one. This screen is the way in: one button opens the blog panel in a new tab and signs you in with your store account.

Before you start

The blog must be on. You switch it on in Blog, and your platform needs a domain of its own to have a blog at all.

The screen

There is nothing to fill in. What you see depends on whether the blog is on.

Writing, editing and publishing posts all happen in the blog panel.

Who can open it

Without Blog → Access, Blog Panel is not in the person's sidebar and the blog does not let them in.

What customers see

Nothing on this screen changes your storefront. What you publish in the blog panel appears on your blog at /blog on your own domain, while the blog is on.

Scenarios

A writer who should see only the blog

Build a role in Roles with Blog → Access and nothing else, then assign it in Users. Their sidebar shows Blog Panel under Content, plus the few screens everyone sees. They write in the blog panel and cannot reach orders, money or settings.

Questions

Do I need a separate password for the blog? No. The blog panel signs you in with your store account.

The screen says my blog is turned off. Turn it on in Blog. If it is already on, your platform may not have a domain of its own yet; the same message shows then. The Blog settings button only appears for people who can open that screen, so otherwise ask someone who can.

A colleague cannot see Blog Panel. Their role does not have Blog → Access. Add it to their role in Roles, or give them a role that has it.

Can I write posts in this panel? No. Posts are written only in the blog panel.
