Issued Coupons

The coupons your customers hold. Customers buy them from your Coupon Catalogue with points, so coupons are no longer created here: this screen is read-only. When a customer uses a coupon, its value is paid from your Marketing Wallet.

Where coupons come from

Every coupon bought from your catalogue is minted for that customer personally. To change what customers can get, edit the Coupon Catalogue. Editing an entry there never rewrites a coupon already listed here.

The list

ColumnShows
CodeThe coupon's code, with its title underneath
ValueWhat it is worth, such as 25% off, with its Coupon type: Percentage discount, Fixed discount or Wallet top-up
SourceHow the coupon came about
UsesHow many times it has been used, out of its limit when it has one
ExpiresIts expiry date, or Never
StatusActive or Inactive

Source is Bought with points for every coupon bought from your Coupon Catalogue. The other sources — Created by hand, Campaign, Referral, Birthday and First purchase — belong to coupons issued before coupons moved to the catalogue.

Finding a coupon

Search by Title or Code. Filter by Coupon type, Source and Status. Sort by newest, oldest, expiring soonest, expiring latest, most used, or code A–Z.

Uses of a coupon

View uses on a row opens Uses of that code: every time the coupon was used, with a Status filter. It needs its own access in the role editor, Coupon → Redemption → View list; without it the action is not shown. If the uses cannot be loaded, the window says so: close it and try again.

ColumnShows
CustomerWho used it. Customer without a name when the account has no name, Deleted customer when the account no longer exists
Used onFlight order, Hotel order, Tour order, Activity order, Wallet top-up, or Checkout in progress while the purchase is still going through
Order amountThe full price of the order. Empty for a wallet top-up
Value paidWhat the coupon was worth on that use, paid from your marketing wallet
StatusWhere that use stands
DateWhen it was used
StatusMeaning
Being settledA purchase is using the coupon and is still being processed. The coupon is held: it cannot be used on another purchase until this one is settled. The customer sees it under Processing in My Coupons
UsedIts value reached the customer. The coupon is spent
Handed backYour marketing wallet did not pay, so nothing moved and the coupon went back to the customer unused

A use usually settles within minutes. If it stays Being settled, the platform keeps checking and then marks it Used or Handed back on its own.

How a coupon is paid for

At checkout a coupon does not make the order cheaper. Its value is paid from your marketing wallet into the customer's wallet, and the order is then charged in full from that wallet. Your margin on the booking is untouched. A wallet top-up coupon is never used at checkout; the customer adds its amount to their wallet with Add to my wallet in My Coupons.

If your marketing wallet cannot cover a coupon, the customer cannot use it and is asked to contact support. Their coupon is kept. Charge the Marketing Wallet and they can use it again.

Questions

Can I create a coupon or a discount code here? No. Customers get coupons by buying them from your Coupon Catalogue with points.

A customer says their coupon is rejected. Check its row: is it Active, and not expired? Is the booking in the coupon's currency, above its minimum order, and in a service it covers? If the customer was asked to contact support, your marketing wallet could not cover it — check its balance. If they were told the coupon is being used by another purchase, a use is still Being settled; they can try again in a few minutes.

An order paid with a coupon was cancelled. Does the customer get the coupon back? No. The coupon was spent when its value reached the customer's wallet, and the refund returns the full price of the order, coupon money included.

Can I switch a coupon off? Not from this screen. It is read-only.
