Club Settings
The master switch for your customer club, the currency of your coupon catalogue, and whether points expire. What each action pays is set in Earning Rules, and what points buy is set in the Coupon Catalogue.

The master switch
Customer club turns the whole programme on or off at once.
- On — customers earn points and can buy coupons from your catalogue with them. The programme page and the points summary on the customer's My Points page are visible.
- Off — the club is off everywhere: the programme page is hidden, no points are earned and no coupons can be bought.
Turning the club off does not delete anything. Balances, tiers, rules and the catalogue survive, and come back when you switch it on again.

Points are never spent at checkout. Their only use is buying coupons from your Coupon Catalogue, each at the price in points you set there.
Expiry
Points never expire is the default. Switch it to Points expire after a while and set Months until points expire (1–120).
Expiry is live and automatic:
- A nightly job retires points that sat unspent past the window.
- The oldest points go first.
- The member sees an expiry row in their own points history, so it is never a silent deduction.
- Lifetime points are untouched, so expiry never demotes anyone out of a tier.
The window is fixed on points when they are earned, from the setting in force at that moment:
- Points earned while Points never expire was set never expire, even if you switch expiry on later.
- Changing Months until points expire applies to points earned from then on. Points already earned keep their date.
- Switching back to Points never expire pauses expiry for every point, including those that already carry a date. Switch expiry on again and those dated points expire once their date has passed.
- Points you credit by hand in Members never expire.
Setting it up
- Turn Customer club on.
- Pick the Currency your catalogue is priced in.
- Decide on expiry. Leaving it off is the safe default; you can switch it on later.
- Save, then go to Earning Rules. An action with no active rule pays nothing, so until at least one rule is active nobody collects points.
- Add coupons to the Coupon Catalogue so points have something to buy, and charge your Marketing Wallet so those coupons can be used.
Reset discards unsaved edits and returns the form to what is stored.
Troubleshooting
Customers cannot see the club. The master switch is off. With no active earning rule the programme page still opens, but its Ways to earn list is empty. Changes can take up to five minutes to reach the programme page.
Where did the bonus points and the points-at-checkout settings go? They were removed. What signing up, inviting a friend or a tour review pays is now an earning rule, and points are spent only on coupons from your catalogue. Bonus values you had set here were carried over as earning rules, for actions that did not already have one.
